The development of Guangdong Xinbao Electrical Appliances Holdings Co., Limited for recent years can not be achieved without its emphasis on industrial design. In 2000, Xinbao Electrical established its professional industrial design department; in 2006, the industrial design department stood alone from the research and development centre, and established Innovation Design Centre, and developed into an integrated department for product planning and promotion, industrial design, hand plate making and so on. The Centre has over sixty professional designers and related engineers, and has invested for advanced CAID/CAD computer aided industrial design system, professional image processing system, design assessment interactive projecting system, with cutting-edge technological industrial design and hand plate making equipments, like five imported precise mould manufacturing equipments CNC processing centre, three imported rapid forming equipments FDM, two SLAs, and laser three-dimensional scanning system and vacuum mould copy equipment and so on, and achieving industrial design assets worth around thirty million RMB.

     To realize design into facts, the Company increased its technological development ability and achieved breakthrough on key technologies and techniques related to household electric appliances, like precise mould, food grade plastic, mute electric motor, electric control system, and so on. The Company established industrial scientific research and development cooperation relationships with scientific research and development institutes, like Huazhong University of Science and Technology, South China University of Technology, Hefei University of Technology, and so on; we have also established technological research and development strategic unions with many famous cross-country household electric appliance groups internationally; our in-depth analysis of international research and development trends achieved obvious effects. Our development amount for new products increased from fifty-six in 2001 to 234 in 2005, and our patent increase amount is 43% annually, and now we have intangible assets of four patents of invention, eight international patents, over five hundred patents in China, and so on.
